TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
ZONELOCK tightening system
In addition to a blocker on the tongue, this system also has a blocker for the lower part, on the side of the boot. This allows you to customise your clamping one area at a time for optimal support and perfect heel cushioning.
Boot flex/stiffness
The Salomon Faction Zonelock has medium to rigid flex. It is perfect for demanding riders on all types of terrain and in all types of conditions. Zone Lock also lets you stiffen up the flex a little: increased tightening at the top will stiffen the boot.
Heel support: Salomon Silver Fit liner
With its Auto Fit foam technology, the Silver Fit boot is the first self-moulding model in the collection.
How can I be sure it's the right size?
1. Put the boot on
2.Tighten the boot
3. Stand upright
4. Your big toes should just touch the tip of the boot without causing unpleasant pressure
5. Bend your legs forward, your big toes move backwards and no longer touch the end of the boot.
Tips for storage and maintenance
Storage tips
At the end of the day, remove the liners from the uppers to improve ventilation and dry quickly. Also, remove the inner sole from the liner to dry fully in one night.
