How to choose your ski touring bindings?
"Insert"-type bindings

Minus points: requires a certain method to put on
only accepts insert boots

Binding operation standard
Beware: a lot of ski touring bindings are not standardised
the binding is opened by a spring.
The standard is represented by a scale called DIN.
In theory, a skier weighing 80 kg will adjust their binding to the graduation marked 8. In reality, they will have to also consider their ski level, fitness, and the snow conditions.
Which ski-stop to choose?
Please note: some ski touring bindings do not have brakes but a strap, so you need to adapt the choice of ski-stop to the width of the ski (width of the waist).
