Water-repellent properties
This functional feature is obtained by applying a water-repellent hydrophobic treatment to the fabric. This process prevents water from sticking to the fabric's surface, reducing its ability to absorb water. When movement is added to the equation, water runs off the fabric. This is what is meant by water-repellent. Thanks to its water-repellent properties, water does not soak into the outer fabric. The trousers remain light and dry quicker.
Windproof
It is extremely important to be protected from the wind, whether active or resting, as it cools the body down enormously. According to the "windchill" model, which measures how the air temperature feels when factoring in the wind and cold: at a temperature of 5°C combined with winds of 30 km/h, the temperature will feel like 0°C.
