What type of grip do the NH500 MID KID BOY children’s boots have?
The grip of our soles is certified.
To be awarded the certification, the NH500 MID KID BOY children’s hiking boots must pass laboratory tests to assess how well they grip on different surfaces (smooth, rugged, dry, wet).
To validate these tests, we also assess the quality of our soles on the field, in the mountains, by a panel of young testers.
How do I choose the right size for my child's NH500 MID KID BOY hiking boots?
For hiking, don't hesitate to get one size larger than your child's usual shoe size. This will ensure optimal comfort on the way down and prevent the toes from banging against the shoe. Tip: keep their nails short and, before any descent, check that the Velcro and/or laces are properly fastened to prevent their foot from slipping forward in the boot.
How can I be sure that the NH500 MID KID BOY hiking boots are suitable for my child?
Allow children to try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking.
Check two comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying them on.
We also recommend that you gradually introduce the NH500 MID KID BOY hiking boots on your child’s first few outings. That way, they will adapt to their feet.
Is the insole of the children's NH500 MID KID BOY hiking boots removable?
The insole of the children’s NH500 MID KID BOY hiking boots is removable for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopaedic insole.
