What can you do to ensure that your MT900 filter water bottle is working properly?
Before using it for the first time, rinse the bottle, cap and filter three times with drinkable water.
Choose the best fresh water source available (such as non-stagnant lakes, dynamic waterways, fountains, etc.)
Make sure that you don't get the cap and lid dirty, and that you don't ingest any unfiltered water trickling down the side of your water bottle when you drink.
How to store the MT900 soft filter water bottle
After drying, store your soft filter water bottle in a cool, clean and dry place.
When you use the filter again, if you find that water no longer passes through the filter or only with great difficulty, here's what you need to do:
- Submerge the filter in clean, clear water for about 15 minutes to remove any dirt that may have got stuck to the surface of the filter.
- Rinse the filter with clean, clear water. It should be back to its best
How do I clean the filter after use?
After use, we recommend that you run the filter under a stream of tap water to eliminate any impurities.
We have developed an accessory that makes it easier to clean the filter; it is available on the Decathlon website under reference 8884687.
