TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
YOU ARE AN INTERMEDIATE SURFER
You regularly go surfing. During your sessions, you paddle out to the line-up, duck dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle roll if you are on a longboard, then surf waves of less than one metre. You often fall and are used to being shaken about underwater. Your swimsuit must meet the requirements of your activity and stay in place for each of your movements. We have designed a range for you that is suited to regular activity and your body shape.
ACTIVE AT THE BEACH!
Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other watersports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.
BODY SHAPE
The ALY briefs were created for women who want classic briefs, with medium but feminine coverage. Our stylist therefore imagined very thin side edges to indent the thigh and visually lengthen the leg.
STAYS IN PLACE IN THE WAVES: THE TEST
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwest France. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.
FEEL BEAUTIFUL IN OUR SWIMMING COSTUMES
For 6 years, we have been working to show women's bodies with one goal: to make women feel beautiful in our swimwear. The chest is not crushed, the bum is not highlighted and the cleavage is enhanced. Our mission is to ensure that every woman, whatever her body type or size, finds a swimming costume that suits her.
UNDYED GREIGE LINING
In terms of sustainable development, we have chosen not to dye the lining of this swimsuit. It is therefore greige in colour, significantly reducing its CO2 footprint, especially given that the lining is not visible when the swimsuit is worn. All of our new developments incorporate the concept of eco-responsibility. The planet is our playground, the ocean our favourite part; let's protect them.
REMOVAL OF PLASTIC HYGIENE STICKERS FROM OUR SWIMWEAR
From 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. This responsible decision was made to help protect our planet and reduce plastic use. Saving 940 km of plastic every year!

DRY SIZING AND WET SIZING
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, and you should feel supported. The elastane content in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
DO YOU WANT TO EXCHANGE YOUR SWIMSUIT?
Is the size or style not suitable for you? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.
OLAIAN, DECATHLON'S SURF BRAND
Based in Hendaye, in southwest France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surfing and bodyboarding brand. In our offices at the water's edge, we can design a swimsuit and then on the same day test it directly in the sea to check it stays in place in the waves.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
This product has been tested in use in Hendaye and has been subjected to numerous laboratory tests to guarantee the quality of use for which it was designed: tests on the fabric's stretch and stability, colour-fastness when subject to friction, washing, sea water, chlorinated water and exposure to light, and the product's overall performance after several washes.
