Inflating & deflating the stand-up paddleboard
INFLATION
This SUP is equipped with a NEW GENERATION valve for even greater security.
To inflate your SUP, open the cover and connect the pump (“IN” mode).
Inflate to 17 psi for best results.
Disconnect the pump and close the exterior cover
DEFLATING
Turn the cover a quarter clockwise (“out” mode).
Roll up starting from the side opposite to the valve to remove all the air to completely fold
Close the cap
Installing and removing the fin
This surf SUP has a "SINGLE FIN" set-up. This means it has one fin (ref: 8576512) installed on the centre line of the board. We chose this type of set-up for better HANDLING of the surf SUP in the waves
NB: Remember to remove the fins once you get out of the water.
If possible, rinse the fin base before and after use.
Carry bag
Two-tone fabric bag (see ''DEVELOPMENT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION'' section to find out more)
Height: 90 cm
Width: 35 cm
Thickness: 20 cm
approx. 63 L
These dimensions leave room for a pump and paddle.
Interior pocket and compression system included
LEASH
Always wear your leash to stay attached to your board if you fall. It’s best to attach it to your ankle, but it can also be attached to the knee.
Remove it and rinse after each use.
PLEASE NOTE: do not use a leash on rivers
Folding the board
Empty all the air from the board
Start folding up from the fin base, following the dotted lines to avoid damaging the base.
Stop halfway and start a second folding beginning from the valve side (wallet folding).
OUR BOARDS CAN BE REPAIRED!
The vast majority of surfing stand up paddleboards are repairable:
For small repairs, we sell a stand-up paddle board repair kit, reference 8512384.
For more complex repairs: we recommend contacting the workshop at your nearest store: valve, handle, fin box... our workshops can repair them all to prolong the life of your surf SUP
How to take off on a surf SUP
When a wave is approaching, position both of your feet on the white areas in the middle of the "dots" arranged symmetrically around the handle.
Start paddling and do not stop until you feel the wave lift you up.
Once you feel the wave pushing you along: move your back foot onto the orange area (right foot for REGULAR stance, left foot for GOOFY stance).
Ideally, your back foot should be on the foam arch in the orange area and your front foot in front of the handle
