Even as an E-bike, it's incredible: unfolds in just 1 motion and 1 second!
And easy to fold too!
We want to make your transitions quick, smooth and easy with a simple folding and unfolding system.
UNFOLDING:
Incredible, in just 1 motion and 1 SECOND!
There's no need to touch the hinges at this stage thanks to the patented automatic locking system that's exclusive to Decathlon.
FOLDING:
The easy-to-locate levers make the hinges simple to operate.
The chunky levers have rounded edges so that they're comfortable to grasp.
Battery life: 4 assistance modes.
- Mode 1: up to 55 km of battery range. It compensates for the bike's weight and allows you to go further.
- Mode 2: up to 40 km of battery range. To easily deal with false flats and gives you an extra push when riding into the wind.
- Mode 3: up to 30 km of battery range for travelling faster at 25 km/h and dealing with slight climbs.
- Walk mode: Moves the bike forward at 4 km/h when you are walking beside it. Hold down the arrow at the top of the console screen with your finger.
BATTERY
The 252 Wh (36V/7Ah) battery is built into the seat post. It can be removed and easily carried.
The seat post clamp can be locked with a key. Perfect for preventing theft.
Lifespan: 500 complete cycles (1 cycle = recharge from 0 to 100%). Beyond these 500 charge cycles, the battery still functions but not to its full, initial capacity.
Warranty: 2 years. The bike is sold with its battery, charger, and 2 keys.
How to lock the seat post clamp lock.
1) Remove the key from the lock. The 2 buttons come out.
2) Lift the handle on the seat post clamp. The saddle can slide.
3) Align the black button with the groove on the seat post. If the button fully pushes in, it's aligned.
4) Leave the button pushed in and push the silver button.
5) Both buttons remain pushed in. The system is now locked.
6) Adjust the saddle height, then finish by tightening the clamp by pushing down the lever.
How to unlock the seat post clamp lock.
1) Insert the key in the lock.
2) Turn the key a quarter-turn to the right. The black button should come back out of the collar. The system is unlocked.
3) In this position, the key cannot be removed. To remove the key, return it to its initial position. Do this by moving the "aluminium triangle" on the key towards the right. Then remove the key.
In case of loss or damage, the key can be re-ordered via email. You can find the address on the support site.
Motor.
The brushless motor is located in the rear hub and provides 35 Nm of torque with a maximum power of 250 W.
The speed at which the motor will accelerate you up to 25 km/h depends on how hard you pedal and the mode that you have selected on the control screen.
A cadence sensor triggers this assistance when you pedal.
System to keep the bike folded.
The E Fold 900 1" is held folded using a magnet system located at the front and rear wheel hubs as well as a clip system between the stem and the frame.
This clever system allows you to roll your bike by pushing it when it's folded, and to carry it without a second thought.
Frame
6061 T6 aluminium frame that's lightweight, dynamic and sturdy.
Our 20" E-bike remains portable.
The frame hinge locks in 1 second. This is a patented system exclusive to Decathlon.
FORK
6061-T6 aluminium frame for less weight and more strength.
DRIVETRAIN.
Drive train: SHIMANO Tourney.
Shift gears using a grip shifter.
Cassette: 7 speeds
Gearing: 11 / 28 teeth
- 11 teeth on the smallest cog. For riding faster.
- 28 teeth: on the biggest cog. You won't have to push the pedals too hard.
Pedals / Chainset.
53T aluminium chainring with 170 mm cranks.
Double chainguard to stop your chain jumping and protect it from dirt.
Folding pedals so that the bike is even more compact when folded.Once the pedals are folded up and the stem folded down, the bike can be stored against a wall and takes up very little space.
Brakes.
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes (TEKTRO T275).
Disc diameter: 160 mm
Leviers and aluminium.
Tips for honing your disc brakes.
When your bike comes out of the shop, the pads and discs are new, so braking performance is very poor.
Continuous heavy cold braking (e.g. downhill) can lead to overheating and 'icing' of the pads, making the brakes much less effective.
Break-in is achieved after 10 brake applications per brake (rear then front).
One brake application represents a sharp deceleration from 25 to 5 km/h without locking the wheel (= don't brake so hard that you stop the bike).
Stem / Handlebar.
Stem: - aluminium
- folding thanks to a patented system of hinges that automatically lock in 1 second.
- adjustable height to suit the rider and keep them comfortable as they ride.
Adjusting the height of the stem changes the angle of your back and position of your arms.
- Handlebar: aluminium. 22.2 mm diameter.
The grips have an ergonomic shape for greater comfort. You can change the incline based on your height to optimise your hand position.
Saddle / Seat post
Wide foam saddle perfect for comfort in an upright position on the bike.
The handle under the saddle makes the bike easy to grip when moving it and guiding it one-handed when in a folded position.
Seatpost:
- graduated aluminium, with a diameter of 61.8 mm.
- guided so it is always aligned and with an anti-theft stopper.
The seat post clamp has a key lock to secure the battery and prevent theft.
Tyres
Schwalbe Big Apple 20 x 2.00.
All tyres should be regularly reinflated every 3 weeks.
The air contained in this wider tyre is used as a natural suspension system.
Inflated to 2 BAR, the tyre rolls easily and provides great comfort.
At 4 BARS, you can ride more easily, save battery life, prolong the life span of your tyres, and limit punctures.
Tyre sidewalls:
- reflective strips to make you visible at night.
WHEELS
20" double-walled rims.
Aluminium hub with sealed bearings
Lights.
The lights are powered by the bike's battery.
- Front light power: 10 lux
- Rear light power: 5.4 Lumen
You can choose to turn them on or off by holding down the "arrow down" button for 3 seconds.
What you should know
They comply with French and German regulations, which are the most demanding.
For your safety, even if your battery is out of charge, the front and rear lights will stay on for another 2 hours.

Battery care and storage advice.
/!\ Store / charge your battery in a dark, dry, cool place (+10°C to +25°C).
Do not store your battery when low on charge as this could lead to a deep discharge which could affect its capacity.
Remember to charge the battery (even when you're not using it) at least every 3 months to prevent it going into a deep discharge.
If you can't charge your battery regularly, switch it to sleep mode, even though it goes into sleep mode automatically after two hours.
