Optimal flow and seal thanks to the cap valve.
This flask has a cap specially designed for children. It has a transparent silicone valve inside to limit water flow for optimal use by children and also to stop the water flow when the bottle is not upright, ensuring it remains watertight, even with the cap open.
Make sure that this valve is present and properly positioned in its casing. If this not the case, the water bottle will leak.
It is recommended to remove it when cleaning your water bottle.
What are the tips for using this kids’ insulated flask?
Do not add liquid to a temperature above 50°C.
Do not use with fizzy drinks or fatty substances (dairy products, oil etc) or with acidic drinks (fruit juices, energy drinks).
Do not microwave, freeze, or expose to flames.
The cap has a handle to make it easy to carry or for hanging on a backpack with a strap or carabiner.
The secret of the insulated flask?
This insulated flask’s stainless steel double wall with vacuum blocks heat by conduction and convection. A thin layer of copper reduces thermal exchanges by radiation.
A few tips to improve thermal insulation: fill your flask with warm water for 5 minutes, and then replace the water with your hot liquids, then close. The fuller the bottle, the better the heat retention.
Warning: the flask is very insulating, the liquids will remain hot for a long time.
How is heat insulation tested?
We’ve tested this flask in the lab according to Standard EN 12546-1, at an ambient temperature of 20°C while filled to capacity.The time it takes for a temperature of 95°C to drop to 50°C (temperature perceived as being warm enough to drink), is 12 hours.These measurements are provided for indicative purposes only and are not representative of actual conditions of use.
How do you look after and clean this kids’ insulated flask properly?
Before first use, wash and rinse the entire product 3 times.
Clean your flask after each use.
For optimal hand-washing and drying:
1. Separate all the elements and fully remove the transparent valve;
2. Hand-wash them with warm soapy water (a fine, delicate brush for getting into the corners);
3. Rinse them in clean water;
4. Leave to dry separately, the cap should remain open when drying.
How do you clean this kids’ insulated flask thoroughly?
The bottle can also be placed in the dishwasher if necessary. Warning: the seal and valve in the cap can come off. Make sure you put it back on if this happens, to ensure your flask remains watertight.
In the event of odours, leave the bottle to soak for a night in a water bottle and vegan bicarbonate.
