Be careful when dropping the dumbbell
Use this hex dumbbell with a rubber mat (ref.: 8651539). You can safely drop the weight.
Storing and maintaining your dumbbell
To protect your floor, store your dumbbell indoors, in a dry spot, preferably on a rubber mat (ref.: 8651539). This will prevent damage to your floors while in storage. You can even store it on a bar and weight rack (ref.: 8788246).
There's nothing easier than maintaining your dumbbell: just wipe it with a clean cloth.

Don't be afraid to use heavier or lighter dumbbells to ensure that you stay safe while still pushing your limits. More experienced athletes can wear a weighted vest to make the workout even more difficult.
