THE ROBUSTEE: A TIMELESS CLASSIC
The Robustee is a must-have T-shirt in pure organic cotton, with a straight cut and heavy fabric weight that keeps you comfortable on sports courts and beyond. This T-shirt is never out of fashion, so you can wear it over and over. While the quality is premium, the line is limited, with only 10000 tees being made (5000 in white, 5000 in dark grey).
In short, the Robustee is a shirt for purists: those who know a quality basic when they see one!
WHAT IS THE GOTS LABEL?
The GOTS label (Global Organic Textile Standard) guarantees that a product is eco-friendly at every stage of production in terms of both processes and materials. The label also certifies that everyone involved in making the Robustee enjoys good working conditions. Last but not least, the GOTS label gives customers the reassurance that they're wearing a quality product that won't harm their health.
AFFORDABLE PREMIUM QUALITY
You've no doubt noticed the Robustee's price, so you've probably been wondering why it costs €20 when other T-shirts cost just €4. Don't worry: quality is a must in all of our products. What sets the Robustee apart is its premium aspect. In other words, not only is it a top-of-the-range T-shirt (100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, reinforced seams, heavy fabric, etc), it's also affordable.
AN EYE FOR DETAIL
The Robustee is packed with little details that make all the difference:
- The collar is bound. This means that we've covered it with fabric to stop it collapsing, rather than just folding it back on itself.
- For sturdier seams, we've double stitched the entire T-shirt.
- Torsion is applied to the yarns (during spinning) so the T-shirt won't twist.
- It also features a half-moon finish to hide the label's stitching.
HEAVIER WEIGHT FOR BETTER QUALITY
While lots of T-shirts have a fabric weight of 150g/m², we've made the Robustee from 220g/m² fabric. As you can probably guess, the more grammes per square metre, the heavier the fabric. Compared with a standard T-shirt, the Robustee is thicker but also more durable (over time, when washed, when ironed). In short, you can be confident that the Robustee has your back: it keeps its shape no matter what!

Available in sizes XS to 4XL, the Robustee offers a great fit for all body shapes! Even if this T-shirt was originally designed for men, we'll completely understand if the ladies fall for it too! This T-shirt is made in Portugal (so not very far away) and proudly declares its "crafted for the future" promise on its label (because we know what we need to do to make the future as good as possible).

You may be wondering: "Why a "D"? When it's 100 % organic cotton and produced less than 2500 km away?"
The score is based on the product's environmental impact. To calculate it, we compare products of the same kind. So we compare 185 g/m2 (on average) t-shirts with the Robustee that weighs 220 g/m2! It is thicker and heavier, so requires more fabric, thus the "D".
But rest assured, the Robustee is GOTS-certified and eco-designed to LAST and we are committed to this!

Conventional cotton farming uses a lot of water, fertilisers and pesticides. This leads to degradation of biodiversity and pollution of soil and groundwater. Organic cultivation is done without using chemical fertiliser, pesticides and GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), which reduces soil and ground water pollution.
