BUT WHAT ARE ELECTROLYTES?

When practising a sport, you perspire; and there are minerals in the water that you perspire. Consequently, electrolytes can be used to compensate for these losses of minerals (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, when it comes to our tablets), without providing any carbs or calories.

Thanks to the electrolytes, the lactic acid, a metabolic waste product of any physical activity (leading to the feeling of lethargy in the legs), is eliminated and the acidity of the body is reduced.

ARE ELECTROLYTES FOR ME?

A NEW FORMULA: THE SWEET TASTE WITHOUT THE SUGAR

In order to provide sports food with a more natural focus, we removed the artificial sweetener from our former product to replace it with stevia, a plant extract that is not synthesised in the laboratory. "Indeed, the stevia continues to provide the sweet taste, without the sugar. The truth is that we would love to create a product without sugar that is as tasty... So, in the meantime, stevia seems to us to be a great alternative," recounts Mathilde, product engineer.

A FIZZY DRINK

Raise your hand if you haven't accidentally taken a sip from a water bottle having forgotten that the contents were fizzy! I suspected as much: there are lots of you (who haven't raised your hand)!

That's why we take this opportunity to remind you that our electrolytes are slightly fizzy. So, when you fill your water bottle, remember to leave the bite valve slightly open.

WHAT ARE ALL THESE INGREDIENTS FOR?

- Sorbitol is a bulking agent.

- Citric acid for the taste and the effervescence.

- Sodium bicarbonate for the sodium content.

- Potassium chloride for the potassium content.

- Magnesium oxide for the magnesium content.

- Calcium carbonate for the calcium content.

- The vitamins B2, B6 and C help to reduce fatigue. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and vitamin B1 helps to metabolise energy normally.

- And stevia for the level of sweetness.
