We developed the HCS concept by increasing the conicity of the blank by more than 20° at the butt. This makes for an ultra-powerful rod that lets you comfortably battle large fish while maintaining a thin tip for maximum sensitivity, meaning you feel even the slightest bite. With HCS, you get power and sensitivity in one.
Reel and line recommendations
We recommend using a size 3000 reel with this rod equipped with a 12/100 braided line or a 25/100 nylon wire.
