Installing your dips bars so that they stay stable
Choose a suitable surface to put your bars on so that you'll be able to focus solely on your workout. If the surface is uneven, the bars could move around.
You may want to weigh them down using weights or a sandbag.
Try them out and, if they don't move, you're good to go!
Make sure the butterfly screws are done up tightly so that there's no play in the product.
The feet are non-slip.
Introducing you to your product step by step
To bring you the best possible experience with this product, it has a QR code that you can scan to access:
- assembly and installation instructions
- exercises and workouts that you can do with these dips bars
- the support website
- the Decathlon second-hand site if you're looking for more products or want to sell your own
With the QR code, you know almost as much as us about the dips bars!
How to store your dips bars
Do you want to tidy your dips bars away until your next workout?
Simply fold them up!
The legs can be rotated to be in line with the handles and their tube. It's as if the bars were completely flat.
You can then slide them under the sofa or elsewhere.
To make them take up even less space, they have a "storage" position that makes them as compact as possible.
Intensify your dips workouts
If you'd like to make your dips workouts a bit more challenging, try wearing one of our 5 kg weighted jackets (ref: 8736051) or 10 kg weighted jackets (ref: 8734579).
If you're starting out, use our training bands to help you do your dips.

What other exercises can you do with the dips bars?
As their name suggests, these bars enable you to train your upper body by doing dips as well as bodyweight rows and even press-ups.
You can also work your legs with bodyweight exercises, including dynamic and explosive exercises: with the bars installed vertically, you can train as if you were using a speed ladder.
For static training, do L-sits, or for dynamic training, do leg raises.
What can you do with a set of dips bars you're no longer using?
