Pitching/striking
Easy structure: poles fit on the flysheet, just open and lock it.
Reverse procedure when dismantling.
Ventilation
1 high rear ventilation point, space between the flysheet and the floor all around the tent: to allow the air to circulate between the sleeping area and the flysheet, to refresh the air and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation.
Sun protection
The Ti0² -coated fabric is SPF 50+. Caution: A large amount of UV rays can pass through an open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) and field tested.
(2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).
Warranty/After-sales service
As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the resistance of our products, that’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable.
The spare parts and pole repairs are available from your Decathlon workshop.
If you have a problem, have your tent looked at in your nearest Decathlon shop.
