TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Dimensions: Length 330mm / width 173 mm / Height 240 mm
- Security: The battery is fitted with a built-in flame arrestor
- Weight: 23.5 KG. For easy carrying, a handle is incorporated into the battery.
- Water-resistance: Thanks to its leakproof system, it is completely watertight, thus preventing any leaks during transport..
VOLTAGE
12 VOLT. The voltage concept is difficult to explain. Remember that this is an electrical quantity measured between the two terminals of the battery that gives rise to the electric current flowing through it.
FULL POWER AHEAD
Your battery must have the power to last the maximum amount of time. This is important especially if you use it intensively for getting around, reeling in from a boat, drifting, and dropping lines, etc. For these purposes, this 110 AH slow discharge battery is perfect because the more powerful your battery is, the long it will last.
For carp fishing sessions lasting a few days, you will need several batteries if you use them intensively. 3 to 4 batteries per week
TIPS
- Connection: To make it easier and simpler to connect and disconnect your battery to the electric motor, battery lug connectors are available in your store.
- Longevity: it is designed to last twice as long as a traditional battery. To increase your battery's longevity, make sure you never discharge it completely, nor store it when discharged
CONNECTION ADVICE
To avoid electrical disturbance, do not connect your motor to the same battery as your sonar. For the sonar, use a small Yucel Y7-12 battery provided for this purpose available in the navigation section of your store. Once charged its capacity is significant because the sonar needs little energy to operate.
HOW DOES A BATTERY WORK?
The battery provides electricity through the chemical reaction of the lead plates immersed in sulphuric acid solution.
When the battery is discharged, simply plug it into an electrical outlet to regenerate the solution.
After each use, recharge your battery with the SCZ15 charger (with maintenance charge). In off-season, remember to charge your battery with the SCZ15 charger
SLOW DISCHARGE
They will be used for longer, consistent, balanced uses, with less fluctuation. Unlike starter batteries, the lead plates used in these batteries are thicker and less numerous, resulting in less exchange in the electrolyte. The battery's capacity is greater over the long term.
CALCULATING YOUR BATTERY'S AUTONOMY
Your engine's autonomy will depend on the power of your battery and the current consumed by your engine. As a calculation example, for a 55 lbs motor consuming at max speed 70A fed by a 110 Ah battery:
Battery life = battery power / current consumed = 1.50 h for one hour and 30 minutes
This is the autonomy when you are at maximum speed. When cruising at a lower speeds, your range will be greater.
WHAT IS A BATTERY'S POWER?
Power is the amount of electricity that the battery can store. Capacity is expressed in amp hours (Ah). Theoretically, it expresses the maximum intensity of the current a battery is capable of delivering during one hour. For example, a 110 Ah battery can deliver a maximum current of 110 amps during one hour
