TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Insulation using recycled synthetic wadding
The wadding filling provides 3 appealing qualities for hiking:
- it has good thermal insulation capacity, even when wet
- it provides come breathability and may be recommended in the case of dynamic activity (feather down is recommended for static activity)
- compressibility: wadding filling is highly compressible
Recycled wadding (polyester)
Filling made of 90% recycled wadding.
By using recycled polyester, no new oil-based resources are used. The waste is recycled into resources that can be used again.
Water repellency
This functional feature is obtained by applying a hydrophobic treatment to the fabric. This process prevents water from sticking to the fabric, causing it to "slide" off without soaking in. As a result, the garment remains lightweight, breathable and warm.
The effectiveness of the treatment can be restored during the product's lifetime. Use sprays that are applied to the outside, rather than additives used when washing the garment, which can damage the product's breathability.
