SAFETY FOR OPEN-WATER SWIMMING
If swimming in open water, you are strongly advised to use an inflatable safety buoy so that boats, rescue services and other craft can spot you easily. The buoy can also be used to rest when the swimmer is tired or suffering from cramp. In addition, a whistle is attached to the buoy so that you can make your presence known with an audible signal if necessary.
DIMENSIONS OF THE OPEN-WATER SWIMMING BUOY
Deflated: 37 cm x 63 cm.
Inflated: 25 cm x 55 cm.
The belt is adjustable from 75 cm to 125 cm.
The strap is adjustable from 50 cm to 90 cm.
HOW TO POSITION THE OPEN-WATER SWIMMING BUOY
For optimal use, the strap of the open-water buoy must be adjusted so that it is positioned just above the rear of the upper leg to avoid hindering your kicking movement.
HOW TO INFLATE THE OPEN-WATER SWIMMING BUOY
We recommend inflating both chambers to 50% each for more safety.
TIP DURING SWIMMING SESSIONS
During your open-water swimming sessions, you can keep your supplies cool thanks to the mesh located on the underside of the buoy, facing the water.
