What is the difference between its material and that of a competition swimsuit?
Cécile, our engineer (and former synchro swimmer) wanted to retain the stretch of a competition swimsuit—and its comfort and chlorine resistance—but wanted the fabric to be thinner. Weight matters in artistic swimming; a heavy and wet swimsuit does not help you get that extra height. So she developed a polyester-based fabric and replaced the elastane fibre with an elastolefin fibre.
Tip from Margaux, product manager and 4th place in the 2017 artistic swimming World Masters Championships
"We have all lost a nose clip during a routine. Thanks to the ideas of our swimming ambassadors, I added a little elastic loop inside the swimsuit at the hips, on the right and on the left. You can attach a spare nose clip and swim without having to worry."
High leg
This synchronised swimming swimsuit has been designed to provide swimmers with great freedom of movement. It is worn above the hips. This makes the legs look longer. It is therefore more high-cut than the swimsuits you are used to.
