Decathlon’s global water sports design centre is located on the banks of the Bidassoa in Hendaye, in the Basque Country, in south-west France.
This allows us to design products in daily contact with users and the marine environment.

Conventional cotton farming uses a lot of water, fertilisers and pesticides. This leads to degradation of biodiversity and pollution of soil and groundwater. Organic cultivation is done without using chemical fertiliser, pesticides and GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), which reduces soil and ground water pollution.
