Nordic walking is performed with special walking poles on flat or gently sloped ground.These monostrand walking poles help propel your action and work your upper body more intensely.
Hiking is done with adjustable walking poles that are used for holding position when climbing, and to avoid slipping when descending.
What are the special features of Nordic walking poles?
Nordic walking is always performed using two walking poles for enhanced propulsion.
Thanks to the gauntlets, you can take the walking poles in your hands or let them go without dropping them.
Monostrand walking poles are lighter and don't bend when used.They absorb vibrations which spares your joints.The tip of the walking pole grips the ground to propel you forward. The detachable tips guarantee good grip on hard ground.
