What is PULL'N FIT?
The innovative PULL'N FIT technology makes it easy to adjust the leg and sleeve length on your baby's snowsuit. With PULL'N FIT, the baby ski suit grows with your baby across 2 sizes.
How can I be sure that my baby will be warm when sledging in the snow?
Our designers use wadding and a special lining to keep the body warm. These polyester-based synthetic components trap more or less air depending on their thickness. The thicker the component (wadding or lining), the more air it contains and the warmer it is. This snowsuit keeps in the warmth during winter outings.
How can I be sure that my baby will stay dry when sledging in the snow?
The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Components with a 2,000 mm rating can withstand the pressure of a 2,000 mm column of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting 2 hours).
How is the waterproof rating of the baby ski suit verified?
This waterproof snowsuit has been validated in a shower test under 60 litres of water / sqm / hour for 4 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a snow storm.
Water-repellent property of the component
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from becoming waterlogged and remains light, breathable and warm.
A fabric is made water-repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface.
This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment (we recommend every 3 washes).
How to restore the water-repellent properties?
To reactivate the water-repellent property, wash the garment inside out on a synthetic cycle at 30°C and rinse thoroughly. You can use your usual washing powder but no fabric softener. Then leave your jacket to air-dry completely on a drying rack. Finally, turn your garment the right way round and put it in the tumble dryer on low heat for 10 minutes. The heat will reactivate the water-repellent property of the fabric.
How can I stop snow from getting in my boots?
Put the elastic of the trousers over the boot to prevent snow and draughts from getting inside the boot and trousers.
How to dress your babies so they stay warm on your sledging outings?
To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule:
- Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry.
- Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in.
- Layer 3 or protective layer, to protect against bad weather (like this babies' ski suit).
Where can I write my baby's name on this ski/sledge snowsuit?
Space to write your kid’s name in order to personalise the product. A very practical feature for finding their snowsuit at the crèche or nursery this winter.
