Removable liner hat
We designed this helmet with a liner hat to keep you warmer during your ski touring outings.
If you feel hot on the way up, it's easy to remove the helmet liner hat. Then, for the descent, you can put the liner hat back inside and it is held in place with rip-tabs.
Adjustment knob: TURNRING SYSTEM
The Turnring is essential to the support of your helmet. This system can be easily and precisely adjusted at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with your skiing gloves. It also gives you comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.
Construction: in-Mold
Thanks to the in-Mold Construction, the helmet is lightweight. This technique forms an external shell that is directly moulded on the internal EPS shell.
It absorbs shocks in the event of any impact.
The light grey hard shell, which encloses the helmet, is made of polycarbonate and increases impact protection.
An intermediate layer (yellow) is added to the construction of the helmet to protect you from the risk of perforation (branches, stones)
Compatibility
Using the two plastic hooks on each side of the helmet, you can slide the elastic from your headpiece.
The shape of the helmet has been designed to perfectly match the WEDZE goggles
RECCO system®:
If you use your helmet in a resort
The RECCO® search and rescue system features a technology in two parts which is used by the rescue services of most ski resorts.
- The RECCO® detector used by the rescue teams emits a directional signal.
- The RECCO® reflector built into the jacket returns the signal.
This generates an audible sound which guides rescue personnel directly to the person needing assistance.
Before setting off, make sure you get the information you need from the professionals
Tip: Product lifetime
Replace your touring ski helmet at least every 5 years if it hasn’t suffered a significant shock in the meantime.
