The reel fits all spearfishing speargun models from the Subea brand (references 8545825, 8504130 and 8504129).

Why use a reel on a spearfishing speargun?

When spearfishing, a reel has two main benefits:



To capture large fish, it secures your catch by allowing the line to unwind to let the fish tire itself out.



If your spear gets stuck and there is poor visibility in the water, it stops you from having to leave your speargun at the bottom of the water. You can instead go up to the surface with your speargun while unwinding the line.
