25 kg band dimensions
- The band is 1.04 m long when slack.
- The band width is 24 mm.
- It provides 25 kg of resistance, meaning that you need to apply a force of 25 kg to stretch the elastic to 200% of its length.
Using a band safely
Check that it is secured in place so that it doesn't come unhooked as you are exercising (if you are using it to assist you with exercises such as pull-ups for example).
Check for wear (breaks or white areas) to avoid your band breaking during an exercise.
Why choose a 25 kg band?
Weight training exercises with a 25 kg band are very demanding. If you're just starting out, a lower resistance is more appropriate.
That said, if you have experience and are looking for a challenge, this one is perfect!
If you want to lighten your load during pull-ups, for example, the 25 kg band is recommended.
Each colour corresponds to a level of resistance:
Blue:11 lbs // Green: 33 lbs // Yellow: 55.1 lbs // Orange: 77.2 lbs // Red: 99.2 lbs // Black: 60 kg
What accessories can you use the 25 kg band with?
The resistance of the 25 kg band can help you lighten your load during pull-ups on a bar (ref: 8385106) or a rack (ref: 8651534) for example, or for starting out with an ab wheel (ref: 8660093). It can also prove useful for lightening the load on a dip bar (ref: 8584544).
The greater the resistance of the band, the easier the exercise will be.
Storing and using bands to extend their life span
Our bands are not tested for chlorine resistance, so we do not recommend using them in a pool.
Do not store them outdoors or in direct sunlight, but instead choose a place with a consistent temperature.
Finally, to keep them in good shape for a long time, do not attach them to abrasive or sharp objects.
