15 kg band dimensions
- The 15 kg band is 1.04 m long when slack.
- The band width is 13 mm.
- It provides 15 kg of resistance, meaning that you need to apply a force of 15 kg to stretch the elastic to 200% of its length.
Always check the condition of your band before a workout
Always remember to check that it is secured in place so that it doesn't come unhooked as you are exercising (if you are using it to assist you with exercises such as pull-ups for example).
If there are cuts or white areas on the band, do not use it, since it could break during your workout.
Is a 15 kg band right for you?
The 15 kg band is perfect for starting with strength training. It allows you to complete all sorts of exercises easily.
You can use it to lighten the load during certain exercises, but its moderate resistance won't lighten very much. For that use, choose a 35 kg band instead.
Each colour corresponds to a level of resistance:
Blue:11 lbs // Green: 33 lbs // Yellow: 55.1 lbs // Orange: 77.2 lbs // Red: 99.2 lbs // Black: 60 kg
What to use your band with
A 15 kg band can help you more easily complete pull-ups on a bar (ref: 8385106) or a rack (ref: 8651534), lighten your load on a dip bar (ref: 8584544) or provide additional safety when starting with an ab wheel (ref: 8660093).
Remember that the assistance provided depends on its resistance - the greater the resistance, the easier the exercises.
Proper storage and use of a band
To keep your band for longer, store it in a room with a constant temperature (avoid the boot of your car, which is very cold in winter and very hot in summer).
Do not use in a swimming pool: we do not test the durability of our bands in chlorine.
And if you're attaching your band to a structure, always check that your anchor point is not sharp or abrasive.
