Handle
When you are in shooting position with your rifle resting on the V of the bipod and the animal moves away, a rapid change of position may be necessary. The handle is there to help you support the bipod and rifle, leaving you to stay focused on the action and not miss the critical moment.
And it can also help you keep stable if needed.
It is up to you whether you use it or not...
Silence
Who has not regretted closing their tripod too quickly? or putting their fingers between the legs to keep them apart to prevent noise as they come together? This is a thing of the past thanks to the EVA foam pads at the top and bottom of the legs. They prevent the legs from banging together.
Adjustment and maintenance
The swivel head can be tightened as you wish for just the right resistance to rotation. Simply remove the plastic cap and tighten or loosen the screw to obtain the desired effect.
Similarly, the resistance of the legs to opening can be adjusted to your preference via the screw on the rotating axis.
