A rigorous standard for protections
Regulation (EU) 2016/425 applies to personal protection. This back protector is notable in particular for its tests on shock absorption capacity with impact tests according to standard EN1621-2 level 1.
This back protector has been approved since the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games by Liam Tourki, rider for the French Half Pipe Freestyle Team.
Choosing the right size is essential for good protection.
To choose the correct size of protective base layer, here is a recommended size chart according to your chest measurement (Height is given as a reference):
Chest measurement:
Size S = 87 to 93 cm (between 166 and 172 cm approx)
Size M = 83 to 99 cm (between 172 and 177 cm approx)
Size L = 99 to 107 cm (between 177 and 183 cm approx)
Size XL = 107 to 117 cm (between 183 and 192 cm approx)
Size XXL = 117 to 127 cm (> 192 cm approx)

The back protector is designed to go with the protective shorts that will be available shortly, as well as the rest of the outfit. It has practical ties to attach the back protection to the belt loops of the shorts or trousers so that it does not ride up when you move.
Precautions for use
Remember not to leave your back protector in the car at night or in a cold environment before wearing it. Indeed, the protective component reacts to cold and hardens if left in such conditions for a prolonged period. Body heat or a heated room is enough to make it flexible again.

Storage tips
Do not bend the foam padding, especially when it is cold, as it can break as a result. Dry thoroughly before storing. Do not store in the cold.
