What is a waterproof fabric?
Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric.
Material with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower).
Is this fabric breathable?
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092).
The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapour produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is.
Is this product compatible with the Vioo Clip lighting?
This product has a hook for attaching a Vioo Clip, an LED light that can be clipped on anywhere and unclipped in an instant.
The VIOO CLIP has a red or white light that lets the user choose between continuous or flashing modes. It makes you clearly visible up to 120 m away. The battery (9 hours in flashing mode, 4½ hours in continuous mode) is easy to charge using a USB cable (sold with the VIOO Clip).
Our care tips
Machine wash inside out on a synthetic programme at 30°C. Do not use too much detergent, and do not use softener.
It is best dried on a hanger in a warm, well-ventilated place.
