THE STORY BEHIND THE RR340 MOUNTAIN BIKE
This mountain bike was fully designed and developed at the B'Twin Village (Lille, France) and is the brainchild of an expert team of mountain bike enthusiasts.
To give beginner mountain bikers the lightness and ease of use they need, the team got beginners involved at every stage of design, construction and testing for the RR340.
Whether it's for riding alone, with friends or as a family, users have approved the RR340 as being really fun to ride!
A UNISEX MTB
The RR340 mountain bike is designed for men and women alike.
The RR340's frame has been carefully designed right down to the smallest detail, from the top tube's relatively pronounced slope, to the broad range of sizes (XS: 1.45m to XL: 1.95m) and the low weight to suit both men and women.
For even more comfort, the Rockrider team's female members recommend using women's SPORT 500 saddle which is specifically designed for women.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE RR340
Several sizes available: XS: between 1.45m and 1.50m
S: between 1.51m and 1.65m
M: between 1.66m and 1.75m
L: between 1.76m and 1.80m
XL: between 1.81m and 1.95m
Do you weigh more than 90kg? For your comfort and safety, "double-walled" rims (more durable) are a good idea. The Rockrider ST100 mountain bike will be even better for you.
A LIGHT, EFFECTIVE FRAME
To get the most out of your pedalling, the Rockrider 340's frame is made from 100% aluminium. Aluminium combines durability and a low weight.
Its sloping geometry makes it easier for both women and men to mount.
FRONT SUSPENSION FOR CUSHIONING LUMPS AND BUMPS
The Suntour XCT 80mm front suspension is designed for slightly uneven trails and helps you overcome your first obstacles with no worries.
Its design, based on a mechanical spring, is reliable and easy to maintain. You can also easily adjust the stiffness using a dial.
REAR SUSPENSION: None
This mountain bike has no rear suspension. It is a "semi-stiff" mountain bike: ideal for beginners.
Compared with a full suspension bike (with rear suspension) the benefit is clear: it weighs much less so you waste less energy on flat terrain.
A "semi-stiff" bike such as the RR340 is therefore a good choice for your first rides!
DERAILLEUR & DRIVE TRAIN: CHANGE CHAINRING AND COG
3 chainrings with 7 cogs, so 21 speeds!

Saddle SIT COMFORTABLY!
Your comfort is our top priority, which is why we offer the exclusive, wider Ergofit saddle, with a special "hammock" shape.
Easily adjust the height of your saddle with the 350mm-long, 29.8mm-diameter seat post.
V-BRAKES: CONTROL YOUR BRAKING
Two V-Brake pads for effective braking.
These brakes are composed of two callipers that can exert varying degrees of pressure on the rim to slow the bike or stop the wheels from spinning.
Thanks to the special design of the RR340's aluminium brake levers, you only need two fingers to brake.
26" WHEELS & TYRES FOR DRY GROUND: READY TO ROLL?
Push off easily on trails with your RR340 mountain bike and its light 26-inch single-walled wheels.
To keep these wheels sturdy, our engineers have given them 36 spokes!
Because your first rides will be on dry terrain, the DRY 26 x 2.0 tyres are the most suitable. Their performance has been optimised thanks to a faster central section, while their side lugs offer excellent traction in turns.
FLAT PEDALS
The Rockrider 340 mountain bike comes with flat mountain bike pedals made from hard resin for a lighter weight and greater safety.
If your foot slips off the pedal, you're less likely to injure yourself.
EASILY TRANSPORT AND STORE YOUR BIKE
At ROCKRIDER, we know that not all rides start on your doorstep or at the front of the store. You might need to transport or store your bike in a confined space (car boot, porch, etc.). To make it easier to mount / remove your front wheel, we've fitted it with a quick release system.
There is a nut at the back to secure the bike and limit the risk of theft. You will need a spanner to remove the back wheel.

COMFORT & SAFETY
We recommend that beginners wear cycling shorts with a pad (foam in the shape of a saddle) or a gel saddle cover to reduce soreness.
For longer rides, remember to take something to drink (e.g. a water bladder or bottle).
In all circumstances, even for a short ride, wearing a helmet is essential!

After washing, rub with a dry cloth to remove all traces of moisture.<br /> Store your mountain bike in a cool, dry place, away from corrosive products and salty air.
