One of the most important rules for properly caring for your inflatable SUP board is to protect it from the sun. This applies to times when it is not immersed in water. If you want to rest and there is only a sunny area around - remember to reduce the pressure in the inflatable stand up paddle board to the level specified by the manufacturer, which will help you avoid possible damage to the board. In order for the inflatable stand up paddle to provide good stability and adequate buoyancy, make sure that its parameters do not deteriorate. In addition to sun protection, it is also important to dry the inflatable sup thoroughly each time you take it out of the water before storing it in a backpack or a special cover. A dry surface is extremely important, so you should store your inflatable SUP board in a dry, moisture-free place. If you swim in the sea or other place where the water is salty, remember to rinse the board before drying and storing it, as salt may accumulate on the surface of the inflatable stand up paddle board. You must know that an inflatable SUP board left in the sun may simply explode. High temperature causes the pressure inside the inflatable SUP board to increase. As a consequence, this may lead to the material tearing. Remember that dark-colored inflatable stand up paddle boards will heat up much faster, but this is not the only threat. The sun may have an adverse effect on the structure of the inflatable sup board, especially on glued elements. Under the influence of heat, the glue may simply melt, leaks will occur, and the board will lose its properties. If you want your inflatable stand up paddle board to look perfect for as long as possible, remember to wash it properly. Plain water with dishwashing liquid or another gentle cleaning agent works best.
