Directions for use

Open the bag and bring the 2 ends together till they touch, so that the bottom of the bag opens up like a bowl.

Add 450 mL of hot or simmering water (level 8). Mix with a spoon. Close the zipper. Shake the bag regularly during rehydration. Wait for 5 to 8 minutes before opening at eating.

You can tear the bag half-way up to use it as a bowl.

Attention, the hotter the water, the better the rehydration. If your water is not boiling, feel free to wait a few more minutes before enjoying your meal.

Dehydration or freeze-drying?

Most of our food is freeze-dried except for the spices, rice and pasta. This involves a sublimation process (transition of water in the solid phase directly to the gas phase). This preserves all of the nutritional qualities of the ingredients selected for the recipes, unlike other dehydration processes. Most importantly, it also preserves the taste of the food without the need for as many preservative agents.

How are the products prepared?

Our range of freeze-dried meals is made in France.

The beef (French origin) is cooked at a low temperature (about 160°F) for between 45 minutes and 1 hour before being dehydrated. The other ingredients (starchy food, etc.) are freeze-dried separately.

All the ingredients are then assembled with the spices and herbs depending on the recipe being prepared. Lastly, they are put in individual brown paper bags.
