SHOE SHAPE
Asymmetry, offset toward the big toe: This shape gives you great grip on small holds at the expense of some comfort (especially for those with a flame foot shape)
Shape suited to technical climbing.
SOLE
Midsole and outsole: XS GRIP Vibram® rubber, excellent grip and resistance to wear.
UPPER
High-coverage synthetic microfiber upper.
Keeps its shape.
SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS
If you are a climber working to improve your skills, you can buy them tighter (1/2 -1 size below normal, for example), but it's important they don't hurt, so that your foot can develop mobility, proprioception, and strength.
If you are an advanced climber, we suggest you take the time to try different sizes (1 to 2 sizes below normal) to find the best compromise between comfort and compression for more force when pushing off.
RESOLING TIPS
The rubber soles wear out quickly when climbing. For regular climbers, the life of the rubber is generally 6 months to 1 year. This depends on many factors (type of rock, climbing style, types of routes, etc.). As soon as you see the synthetic leather through the rubber, you must get them resoled. If you pierce the synthetic leather, resoling will be difficult. Our Decathlon workshops offer resoling services to extend the life of your shoes.
