Choose the right size
A neoprene top must be a tight fit for the most effective thermal insulation. It is perfectly normal to have the impression it is too tight when trying it on in a fitting room or at home. This discomfort quickly disappears once the top gets wet.
Materials
This Tribord hooded top is made from 100% neoprene to ensure even better thermal insulation. The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 0.07 and 0.03 in. Neoprene is a closed-cell polychloroprene elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties. We test and guarantee the thermal quality of our neoprene materials.
Watertight assembly
The seams are stitched and glued for a watertight seal and durability.
The seams are blind-stitched. The thread does not pass all the way through the neoprene, so water can't get through.
The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing.
Patches for comfort and reinforcement are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.
Windproof
We have added smooth windproof neoprene elements to reduce the chilling effects of wind. This component improves thermal comfort and reduces the windchill effect.

Our tops are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding surfers. Our design choices also make them compatible with other water sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, sea wading or SUP (stand up paddle boarding).

Based in Hendaye, in South West France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's surfing and bodyboarding brand. In our offices at the water's edge, we can design a range of accessories and then on the same day go surfing and test them.

Storage tips
In a dry, ventilated place. Avoid heat sources. To extend the life of your top, do not leave it out to dry in direct sunlight. Machine washing is not recommended.
